What's round the corner? Life is full of surprises. Yes, I'm optimistic,and have a sunny and youthful outlook on life, it's just that so many things are more fun if they are shared, like country walks, cooking dinner for two, walking on the beach, a glass of wine in the evening sun, holidays, sharing the Sunday papers.

Kind and tolerant, intelligent, and articulate with a good sense of humour, I can chat for hours with the right person, yet I also enjoy peace and quiet with a good book. I am confident and happy with a real "joie de vivre" and spirit of adventure, love a challenge and to see the next thing round the corner. There are many adventures out there, how wonderful to discover them with a lovely man.

More travelling is something high on my list of things I would like to do ......1000 things to see!! I love to be in the sun and am a real spring and summer person. I travelled solo for 14 months recently - what an adventure, so I am told I am brave and courageous. Yet I treasure a happy home life, warm and cosy, there for each other.

The countryside, its peace and beauty, my garden, the coast (only 6 miles away) and of course my family are all so important to me.

I hold traditional values and hate rudeness, arrogance and bad manners and just love to be treated like a lady. I would love to make someone happy and have the same thing happen to me and to be able to stop talking to myself - it's becomming too frequent!!

They say that opposites attract and yet we would have to share the same basic values. I would like him to be confident and happy, tall, kind and understanding, considerate and tolerant. Have a love of life and not take things for granted.

He would be fit, enjoy good food and good conversation and have a healthy respect for himself and others with a sense of humour that can keep everything in perspective. He will also understand my love of my family and I would of course feel the same.

I think now that it's best to wait and see, you can't always judge a book by its cover and life is full of surprises, I just know you are out there somewhere, perhaps you just need pointing in the right direcction, the kindred spirit direction.
